“The first time I arrived in France, I didn’t know anything and anyone. Paris is a very big city! There are a lot of metros, bus, an others transports. It’s very complicated to find alone the prefecture or administrative places for refugees.
I am here since one year. I am refugee, I have the papers. J’ai fait ma demande d’asile à La Chapelle à France terre d’Asile. It was very fast for me to get papers, in two months. I came from Darfour in Soudan. I left my country in 2018 because there are a lot of problems with the government. A lot of people are coming from Darfour. The last president, Omar el-Bechir, killed a lot of my family. I can’t really speak about this history because for me it was a very bad history. I don’t need to remember that. I came alone, by Italy. My family is in Soudan.
Now I have a new life with a lot of things to do, with a lot of news meetings. I will start to work soon.
I think nothing is easy but I try to find solutions for myself. Everything is difficult at the beginning but in the end you can find some things to be fine.” (1/3)
